The UEFA Champions League, Europe’s elite club soccer competition, is the most-watched annual sporting event. Every year, 32 teams from Europe’s top soccer leagues face off for a shot at the prestigious trophy.

There’s only one winner.

The competition has sprung a few surprises recently. Few expected Inter Milan to reach the finals last season. Tottenham in 2018 and Borussia Dortmund in 2013 were other unlikely finalists.

Though underdogs have made a serious run at the trophy, heavyweights usually go past the finish line.

The Champions League hasn’t begun, but that will not stop me from making a few early predictions about the potential winner of the 2023–24 season.

Who will be crowned winners in London’s dazzling Wembley Stadium on Sat 1st June 2024?

Let’s start with the defending champions and current bookmaker’s favorites, Manchester City.
